The 15th Core Faculty Development Workshop was organized by the Health Professions Education Unit of Patan Academy of Health Sciences (HPEU-PAHS) on 14–16 December 2025. The primary objective of the workshop was to orient newly appointed faculty members to the institutional vision of PAHS, its philosophical foundations underpinning the curriculum, teaching–learning modalities in both knowledge and skills domains, and the assessment strategies practiced at PAHS. A total of 25 participants attended the workshop, including three faculty members from Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and one faculty member from Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Centre. Two new sessions were introduced in this iteration of the workshop. The first focused on Competency-Based Education in the Health Professions, reflecting PAHS’s strategic move toward adopting this approach across all its schools. The second session addressed Digital Learning and Artificial Intelligence in teaching, learning, and assessment, acknowledging the rapid evolution of AI and its expanding role in contemporary education. Prof. Dr. Paban Sharma, Rector and Chair of HPEU, awarded certificates of appreciation to both the resource persons and the participants.
