Congratulations Prof. Dr. Nabees Man Singh Pradhan on being the 2018 recipient of the Grace Humanitarian Award !

PAHS would like to congratulate Prof. Dr. Nabees Man Singh Pradhan, Department of Orthopaedics on being the 2018 recipient of the Grace Humanitarian Award for his dedication to patients in the face of adversity during the 2015 Nepal Earthquake.

The Grace Humanitarian Award is presented each year by the Department of Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital to an individual who exemplifies the humanitarian values of compassion, conscientiousness and dedication, while providing  altruistic emergency care to our patients and families or to an individual who advocates for excellence health care with these values in mind.

The award was established in 2008 by generous donor and grateful sudden death survivor Marina Grace, MBA, who attributes her survival to the exceptional care she received in  the Department of Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital  after her event in 1993.

Prof. Dr. Nabees is currently in Philadelphia, PA, United Sates to receive the award as well as for presentation on his experiences to the faculty over there.
