In a timely humanitarian response, dedicated faculty members from the Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) Dr. Anil and Dr. Bijesh successfully conducted a specialized health camp for flood-affected children at the holding center in Thecho, Lalitpur, on Sunday, Ashwin 18, 2083 (October 4, 2026).
The relief health camp focused on addressing urgent health concerns among displaced children staying at the shelter following recent severe weather and flooding across the district.
During the camp, the doctors provided free pediatric consultations, health screenings, and necessary medications. They also offered health counseling on sanitation, vector-borne disease prevention, and safe drinking water practices to protect children from post-flood disease outbreaks.
