Prof. Dr. Buddhi Prasad Paudel, the Vice Chancellor of Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS), comes from a background of clinician-academician. Before his current role, he served as the head of the Department of Internal Medicine at PAHS. He began his professional journey at Patan Hospital as a Medical Officer in November 1999 and later rejoined the Department of Internal Medicine in 2004 as a permanent faculty member. Through his dedicated clinical work, teaching, and research—particularly in the field of Rheumatology—he has made meaningful contributions and earned wide national recognition. He seeks to strengthen academic standards, promote innovation, improve hospital services, and foster a culture of integrity and collaboration at PAHS.
