Professor Shrijana Shrestha , the Rector at Patan Academy of Health Sciences ,is leading the academic initiatives of the institute and is overseeing the School of Medicine, School of Public Health, and School of Nursing & Midwifery. She chairs the Academic Council, focusing on curriculum development and implementation. Her focus is on competency-based and socially accountable Health Professional education. She is the Professor of Paediatrics, the lead researcher at Paediatric Research Unit and has served as the Dean School of Medicine for two successive tenures (2014-2017; 2018-2021).
