Professor Dr. Nabees Man Singh Pradhan has been appointed as the Dean of the School of Medicine at Patan Academy of Health Sciences (SoM-PAHS). He has been a cornerstone of the institution’s academic development for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. He was a key contributor to the design and implementation of PAHS’s innovative competency-based curriculum.
With over 23 years of service as an orthopedic surgeon at Patan Hospital, he pioneered the introduction of Total Elbow Replacement, Knee Arthroplasty, and Total Hip Arthroplasty. Following a fellowship in Shoulder and Sports Medicine, he further expanded services by establishing Shoulder Arthroscopy and Shoulder Replacement surgeries at the hospital.
Professor Dr. Pradhan also served as Chief Editor of the Journal of Patan Academy of Health Sciences until 2024. Prior to his current appointment, he held the positions of Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery and Chairman of the Institutional Review Committee at PAHS.
