
Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) expresses its deepest condolences to all individuals, families, and communities impacted by the recent catastrophic floods and landslides across Nepal, particularly in the Rasuwa region.
In solemn remembrance and solidarity, a Candlelight Vigil was organized at the PAHS grounds by the PAHS Student Society. The gathering was held in the esteemed presence of leadership, including the Vice Chancellor, Rector, Registrar, Deans, Hospital Director and Assistant Dean SoNM alongside faculties, staffs, and students.
Together, the PAHS community stood in silence to honor those affected and offer our collective prayers:
- For the Departed: May their souls rest in peace.
- For the Missing: May ongoing rescue efforts bring them back safely.
- For the Families: May they find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
PAHS would like to extends deep admiration and gratitude to the frontline security personnel, local authorities, and civilian volunteers. Working tirelessly under extreme physical strain and often relying on basic rations like noodles their dedication to rescue and relief operations embodies extraordinary bravery and service to humanity. As a healthcare and academic institution dedicated to public health and humanitarian service, PAHS remains steadfast in its support for disaster response, emergency medical care, and national resilience during times of tragedy.
